The trading program, Market Neutral Option Writing, employed by the Advisor to manage Client accounts was used in the management of the accounts that are represented by the following proprietary trading results. The results are presented on a pro-forma basis. Specifically, since the proprietary accounts presented in the following performance capsule were not charged management or incentive fees, the Advisor adjusted the performance to take into account the Advisor’s fees as described in this Disclosure Document. It should not be expected that these same results could or should be expected for client accounts being managed in accordance with the Market Neutral Option Writing trading program.
* Annual rate of return is based on the VAMI (Value added monthly index), a common means to evaluate the performance of fund managers. The VAMI return reflects the growth of a hypothetical $1000 in a given investment over time.. Subsequent values are calculated by multiplying the previous months VAMI index by 1 plus the current month rate of return: VAMI = Previous VAMI x ( 1 + Current rate of return ).
** Largest Monthly Percentage Draw-Down represents the largest loss in any calendar month expressed as a percentage of beginning account balance.
*** Worst Peak-to-Valley Percentage Draw-Down means the greatest cumulative percentage decline in month-end account balance due to losses sustained during any period in which the initial month end account balance is not equaled or exceeded by a subsequent month end account balance.
